Created by The Community Builders (TCB), this Community Life (CL) Index for current TCB properties is used to understand and assess the complexity of a new property based on factors in the neighborhood and property that impact strategies for the implementation of resident services and programs. From this index, a "Complexity Rating" is created which informs the expectations for the site, the timeline for achieving organizational goals/objectives, and the amount of resources needed (number of partners, costs for programming, and staffing levels). With the information gathered from this Index, this tool is useful for developing a Resident Opportunities and Needs Assessment, which can then be used to inform a property services plan.
