This webinar, recorded on September 24, 2024, highlights approaches to developing, refining and implementing a theory of change and logic model. Participants also heard from the experiences of practitioners at two CORES certified organizations, Beacon Communities and Mercy Housing.

Crafting a theory of change is an important step in developing resident services programming and identifying how an organization understands and measures the impact of its programs and services. Through this process, organizations can pinpoint their goals and map out the steps to achieve them, including the integration of these measures into their service planning and outcomes tracking. As part of the CORES certification process, organizations are expected to provide a strategic framework, theory of change, or a logic model that guides how resident services coordination is implemented across their portfolio.
